Winding River Ranch is a beautiful 525-acre property bordered by Rocky Mountain National Park and Arapahoe National Forest. Over two miles of the Colorado River flows through the ranch. We are located 2 miles from the village of Grand Lake, 19 miles from Granby, and 100 miles northwest of Denver.

We specialize in taking care of individual families as well as family reunions and weddings. We can accommodate up to 50 people in cabins. Most cabins are located on the banks of the Colorado River. Meals are available and served family-style in our main dining room. We usually serve a buffet breakfast, trail lunch, and complete dinner.

Horseback riding is one of our main activities, and we offer breakfast and dinner rides, as well as miles of spectacular trails. We have private pens, riding arenas, and a beautiful barn.

The ranch is home to many activities---hiking, fishing, a heated indoor swimming pool, hot tub, sauna, steam cabinet, and massage are available for guests. Our main guest lounge is a gathering place to talk and share experiences, with a wood stove, piano, organ, and TV with satellite dish, as well as an extensive family video library.

Accommodations come in many different sizes and styles, with 1-2-3 bedroom cabins, motel-style rooms, apartment-style rooms, all of which provide a fireplace, full bathrooms,  spectacular views of the Rocky Mountains or the Colorado River. Most have a microwave, small refrigerator, TV and VCR. All linens are provided. Pets are permitted at an extra charge.

Located 2 miles from the village of Grand Lake, 19 miles from Granby, and 100 miles northwest of Denver, we are located in the heart of Colorado. Come experience! Come and play!
